What’s In My Bag?

It’s been awhile since I did one of these What’s In My Bag posts, so I thought I’d play along and bring it back today!

In part, this is just an excuse to share a picture of the purse hubby bought me for Christmas. I am absolutely obsessed with it and people literally stop me in the grocery store to ask about it – it’s so beautiful in person and I think the pictures don’t even do it justice!

So it’s the Tory Burch Gemini Tote Link bag in French Gray. It’s big enough to hold everything I need and more. But importantly: it holds my laptop just fine for when I’m headed out somewhere for the day and need my laptop. It’ll also hold my Kindle or whatever else I need to pop in there. I can shove a lot of junk in there and it can get heavy but the bag is very strong and sturdy! (Bonus: it comes in four colors too – one for every season!)

On a daily basis though, of course I’m not schlepping around my laptop. I use a Tory Burch wallet that hubby also gets props for picking out for me. They don’t have the color/version he got me anymore but this one is similar. (And I kind of love it in the blue?)

So what else is in the pile?

*Gloves. ‘Cuz it’s that time of year, plus I have Raynaud’sso I pretty much always have a pair in my bag mostly year round, even in the spring and fall.

*A totally unmatchy makeup bag that holds lipsticks, hand sanitizer and tampons.

*My Kindle, ‘cuz you never know when you’ll get a quick chance to read!

*A running armband to hold my iPhone when I go for runs. I’ve stepped it back up with running as I’m training for the Hot Chocolate 15k in April in Philly again this year. I also always have a pair of these Panasonic earbuds with me. I have like 6 pairs around the house for all of us – they are cheap & the best pair of headphones I’ve ever found. They don’t move a stitch when running and they are just great sound for everyday use too. (No microphone though.)

*Some eos hand lotion in Creamy Cucumber

*A pair of cheap sunglasses from Target because I won’t buy expensive ones anymore since the dog chewed all the expensive ones up when she was a puppy

*Car keys and a random wrap bracelet I took off the other day when I had acupuncture

*Hand sanitizer

*Oh, and apparently I have 5 lipsticks in my bag?!?! (Plus a travel sized Advil that you see in the photo) The lipsticks are, from front to back: 1)Christian Dior Rogue Lipstick, 2)W3LL PEOPLE Lipgloss, 3)Neutrogena Color Stick in Rich Raisin, 4)Jane Iredale Pure Moist Lipstick in Naomiand 5) Maybelline Creamy Matte in Nude Nuance

That’s it. Full disclosure, I also had a bunch of random receipts that I had tossed into my bag that were crumpled into a ball at the bottom of the bag that I have since cleaned out. So thanks for the inspiration to do that!
