As part of our Wisk Review posts, my son and I did an experiment with a protein stain. There are hundreds of stains, most are either protein, carbohydrate or oil stains. A protein stain can be eggs, spinach.. and even grass (which I didn’t realize). Wisk sent my family a box of materials to see if we could conquer protein stains.

Our Assignment: To beat the protein stain.

Our Experiment: We were given a swatch of fabric completely We took a plastic beaker and filled it with warm water. We poured a small amount of Wisk into a cap and dipped a dropper pipette in. Then we drew a “B” and another little doodle  on our grass stained fabric, dropped it in the warm water and swished it around. Here’s the experiment on video that we did.

Our Results: It worked! The Wisk really got the grass stain out! The area where I drew the B and my son drew his little doodle was completely clean. It was so cool!
